2:2我是那创造星辰的火焰的核心。There is no division here. I am the core of the star that ye call the Sun.
2:3我在众星之间飞行。In the sphere I am everywhere the centre.
2:4然而她（Nuit）说：我给了你们一个太阳般的圆。Yet she shall be known & I never.
2:5看那蛇！它是我的象征。Behold the rituals of the old time are black.

3:2在那话语的权柄之下，我站立。There is a secret door I will make to establish thy way in all the quarters.

Aleister Crowley

Rose Kelley
第一任妻 · 灵媒 · 1874-1932

泰雷玛与 Golden Dawn 的关系
Crowley 于1898年加入金色黎明（Golden Dawn），在那里学习了卡巴拉、塔罗、仪式魔法等核心知识。泰雷玛魔法体系在很大程度上继承了 Golden Dawn 的仪式框架与对应体系，但对其进行了根本性的改造：Golden Dawn 的目标是"与圣守护天使对话"（Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel），而泰雷玛将这一目标重新定义为"发现并践行真意志"。此外，泰雷玛引入了性魔法实践（在 Golden Dawn 中是禁忌），并将道德框架从"服从神"转变为"成为神"。
Israel Regardie在1920年Aleister Crowley于西西里切法卢建立泰雷玛修道院后撰写了《律法为众人》（The Law is For All）的导言。Regardie认为这是Crowley写过的最重要、最有力的文献——因为在这里Crowley首次以某种完整性记录了他对性和爱的基本态度。Regardie指出,Crowley的评论是对性、毒品和宗教三个主题的系统阐述,此外还包括暴力这一近年来才成为头条的话题。
